Here's a viral marketing idea for all you big time designers out there - you know how Radiohead offered 'In Rainbows' for free or by what you could afford? Why don't you do that with a t-shirt? Limited edition artist series. Three blasts - three designs.

I find the most effectively designed shirts are by artists rather than designers. I can never justify the prices of a Marni or Balenciaga t-shirt regardless if the designs are aesthetically pleasing, maybe it's because I can get a more interesting and unique shirt for a fraction of the cost while supporting an emerging artist.

It's amazing how difficult it is to find a decent tshirt! I agree about Alternative Apparel, their super basics are priced about the same as American Apparel here but are much more difficult to find.

Love those prints, I'm going to go hunting on the site, boyfriend and I are both in desperate need of new tshirts!
