The Amnityville Horror - that's freakin scary too! The original! Also The Grudge - Japanese version.
Ohhh I had Amityville on the list - the flies on the wall bit. And what's with those sounds! The Haunting (original) must've used the same sound guy. I was also thinking Exorcist and The Omen and The Howling...and Friday the 13th (first one) and Nightmare on Elm St. (first one).
I just watched The Hills Have Eyes - it was HORRIBLE - I was pretty grossed out - not so much scary as just dark.
