Winter coat season is around the corner and we're having one heck of a time finding a coat. Here are a few from F/W 2010 collections that he's been inspired by.
Remember when I was wondering about Dolce & Gabbana's Madonna campaign - or was it Madonna's Dolce&Gabanna campaign? Anyway, here's a behind the scenes look released today. Note the chicken.
Well, after trying those Fiorenti & Baker two weekends ago I had to go revisit the inspiration - just to make sure. Last weekend we headed to our local surplus store to see what was in stock. I found both pairs - the parade and the combat (photos 5 & 6) plus a few cool ones for him. Is it just me or is the boot in photo 3 a near spitting image to the Barry Distressed Buttero boots? Of course neither of us walked out with boots but I picked up a Canadian cadet overcoat - currently at the dry cleaner so no photo.
PS The rainy season has begun and I want to bottle the smell of the forest.
Haunted by the spirit of my old combat boots I was possesed to try these Fiorenti and Baker Elois-A-Ner on last weekend. I loved them. Haunted by mocking voices in my head chanting, 'You can't buy grunge at the Gap.' I wondered if I'd be a poser if I paid over $575 for them.
